This morning Google announced that it will acquire wearable pioneer Fitbit. Google takes lot's of health Data of their users to deliver a specific ads to their users. Google's efforts to compete with Apple in the fitness and wearable categories have at best , uneven.
The $2.1 Billion deal's completion comes with many concerns . The EU in particular presents a number of forewarning when it finally allowed the possession last month.
As a part of deal, Google also agreed to not to use Fitbit's data to show ads for next 10 years -- which the commission reserved the rights to extend by next 10 years.
Google also allowed third party apps to access APIs in order to maintain Favourable Competition.
