Is Mega-Pixel are overhyped ?

 

When we talk about the Camera we simply predict that more mega-pixels means more powerful camera , but it is not true . So to know more read this blog to know what is the mega-pixel.

              What is pixels:

First if we talk about pixels then it is a physical point in a raster image , it is the smallest controllable element of a picture represented on the screen.

   So if we take example of the given cube image made by an artist then each colored square from top view represents a pixel of the image.

                                    What is Mega-pixels (MPs):

We heard the  word Mega-pixel  oftenly when you see advertisement of mobile or when we go to purchase mobile and this word marketed in a way such that it is Soul of any mobile.

Mega pixels refers to the million pixels in an image sensors elements of digital cameras or the number of display elements of digital elements of digital  display.

For Example:- If a camera makes a 12,032*9,204 pixel resolution image then it is said 108 mega-pixel.

How Necessary Mega-pixels for Photography ?

Mega-pixels resolution Plays important role in how large you can print your picture without affecting the pixel structure. A camera with a lot of mega-pixels doesn't necessarily deliver better photos than  a camera with less mega-pixels . The size of the image sensor and the type of lens will eventually have more impart on the quality of your Photo.
