What is Ping ? Every Gamer should Know this...

Sometimes Gamers feels Lag or delay in response time which leads to the Game loss. Professional Gamers should have less Response Time or Ping to have good response Time to Play Multiplayer Game.

If any Player have High Ping then Game will delay and it may leads to bad gaming experience.

                                         What is Ping ?

A ping is a signal sent to a host that request response . It serves two primary purposes which include: 1) checking if the host is available and 2) measuring how long the response takes.  You can check the Ping of your network using the " Ping " command using CMD.

Ping contains a single packet (32 or 52 bytes) with an echo request. The host, if available, responds with a single packet as a reply. The ping time, measured in milliseconds, is the round trip time for the packet to reach the host and for the response to return to the sender.

Internet connection speed affects Ping and Ping is often directly related to the distance between the source and destination system . If host and Server are located in different countries then Ping will gradually high.

Network congestion may slow down pings, which is why pings are often used for troubleshooting.

What is Good Ping response Time ?

1) < 30ms:- Best, Good for online gaming

2)  30ms to 50ms:- average ping, still good for gaming

3)  50ms to 100ms:- Somewhat slow, Ok for Web browsing but not for Gaming

4) 100ms to 500ms:-slow ping, Somewhat lag in web browsing  but creates a Lag in Online Game

5)  >500ms:- Worst, this usually happens when the source and destination are in different countries.

How to achieve Low Ping ?

1) Use Ethernet over Wi-Fi.

2)  Close Background Programs.

3) Optimize the Game set.

4) Remove other devices from Network.
